DISABILITY ACCESS
With modern facilities including lifts and street level access, you’ll find Kirkgate Shopping easy to get around. Not forgetting our customer service team are there to help at all times.
The centre is wheelchair accessible at the Godwin Street, Westgate and Darley Street entrances which all have automatic doors for your convenience.
We are also happy to provide free parking for Blue Badge holders on payment of an annual administration fee of £12.
All the extra wide disabled bays are close to the entrances and our friendly customer service staff are always on hand to help if needed.
Radar operated disabled toilet facility is situated in the lift lobby on the lower level car park. We operate a wheelchair loan service though demand is high so please phone ahead and book your wheelchair in advance on 01274 390032.

PARENT & CHILD
With custom designed changing facilities, you’re guaranteed to have a less stressful time when shopping at Kirkgate.
Baby change facilities are available in both the ladies and gents’ toilets.
Wider parent and child parking bays can be found on the lower level car park.
CITY CENTRE BEAT
City Centre Beat is Bradford’s Business Crime Partnership. The offices are housed in the Kirkgate Centre just above the escalator onto the Kirkgate pedestrianised area.
Kirkgate Shopping and most of its shops belong to the partnership. We are all linked by a radio system and have easy communication with both the Police and the city centre CCTV control room. Members are kept informed on known criminals making it easier for us to exclude them from the centre and the other businesses in the city.
The partnership runs an award winning Student Safe Spot scheme which recently swept the boards at the Security Industry Awards.
